HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
We are currently establishing a PayPal account so that donors can make contributions from both credit and debit cards. As it currently stands, please send checks made out to the "Wounded Warrior Project" with "Doug Eldridge/10-12-100 Campaign" in the memo line. Please mail these checks to the DC office of DLE Sports as we are now doing a weekly mailer to the WWP. The address is:

DLE Sports

Also, others have asked to host a fundraising event on our behalf. We are always grateful when others step up and want to join in our efforts. We welcome the opportunity to work together and want to hear from you. Please contact: courtney@dlesports.com to set up a meeting.
WHAT IS THE 10-12-100 CAMPAIGN?
In 2009, DLE Sports will launch a nationwide charity campaign for the benefit of America's young service men and women, who have been severely injured in the line of duty. Aptly titled 10-12-100, the details of the campaign are outlined in the title itself: 10 marathons in 12 months to raise $100,000.00 for the Wounded Warrior Project. DLE President Doug Eldridge has committed to running all ten marathons, in honor and in recognition of the sacrifices made by these young men and women. The 10 marathons will cover both large metropolitan areas as well as smaller venues, which prominent military communities. The race schedule, which stretches from January to December, is as follows:

1.  Jan. 25  ING Miami Marathon (FL)
2.  Feb. 15  Pensacola Marathon (FL)
3.  Mar. 21  National Marathon (DC)
4.  Apr. 18  Charlottesville Marathon (VA)
5.  May 3   Cincinnati Marathon (OH)
6.  Jun. 27  Seattle Rock n' Roll Marathon (WA)
7.  Jul. 26   San Francisco Marathon (CA)
8.  Sep. 7  American Discovery Trail Marathon (CO)
9.  Oct. 25  Marine Corps Marathon (DC)
10. Dec. 6  Las Vegas Rock n' Roll Marathon (NV)
WHAT IS THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT?
The Wounded Warrior Project is a registered 501(c)(3) charity whose roots can be traced back to John Melia, a former Army soldier, who sustained service-ending injuries in the 1990s. Melia formed the WWP some five years ago, on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens.

The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations around the world. By concerted efforts to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid through unique, direct programs, the WWP is helping these young veterans, most of whom have sustained traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries which will retire these brave warriors from military service.

From the battlefield to their bedside, WWP is there to meet the needs of our wounded heroes. For more information please visit: www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Financial support is key. While the ultimate goal is to raise awareness, spark conversation, generate lobbying efforts and evoke more structured government intervention on behalf of these young veterans, the first step is to meet the $100,000 goal set forth by this campaign. It is important to note that all contributions will receive 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. For more information on exactly how to claim a 501(c)(3) deduction, please visit the IRS website for a description of the category and how it will affect your tax basis and deduction itemization.

Please visit: www.irs.gov.
HOW WILL MY CONTRIBUTION BE USED?
All checks must be made out to the "Wounded Warrior Project" and will be used entirely by the organization. However, in order to better account for our progress in reaching the $100,000 goal, you must denote "Doug Eldridge 10-12-100 Campaign" in the Note/Memo line in the lower left hand corner of your check.

For a more detailed explanation of how the WWP will then utilize your contribution in order to get much-needed funds to these injured soldiers, please visit: https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/content/view/673/978/.
HOW CAN I KEEP TRACK OF THE PROGRESS BEING MADE TOWARD THIS GOAL?
In order to better follow our fundraising efforts, training, racing, and general commentary, please follow the new company blog detailing this epic journey: 10-12-100.blogspot.com. This blog will be updated on a weekly basis and will include key statistics, editorial, interviews, pictures, race reports and general updates. This will also be a forum to answer questions posed by the general public. All in all, the 10/12 blog will be the easiest way for you to keep track of the Campaign's progress and to truly be a part of the journey. Additionally, we will compile a media area so that you can track the coverage our campaign is generating. Without coverage there can not be awareness, without awareness, there can not be support, and without support, we can not evoke the necessary change and intervention on behalf of these young wounded American warriors. Please note, by no means and in NO WAY is this campaign a political statement; it is neither an indictment nor a message of support for the ongoing war in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is an a-political, non-partisan issue, initiated by DLE Sports in support of the Wounded Warrior Project for the care, concern and well-being of our young men and women in uniform. In an age of change, one thing remains the same...

These young soldiers need our help.
